"I started seeing him in 2017 on the recommendation of a friend. I was suffering from atrial fibrillation. He is very kind and really listens. He sent me for consultations with other specialists to address my symptoms such as shortness of breath. I now also see a wonderful doctor for COPD. I had many tests done to address my cardiac issues.

In December 2019, I had open heart surgery to repair a severe regurgitating tricuspid valve. Dr. Patrick Ryan (also an amazingly kind and concerned doctor) did the surgery and also did a MAZE procedure and an Atriclip. I suffered a complete heart block and 4 days later I had a pacemaker implanted.

The staff at Swedish Hospital was wonderful. I have recovered well. It has been 5 years and I managed a daylong hike at Mount Rainier in September 2024.

I still see Dr. Demopulos. I was never afraid of the outcome because I know I can trust these doctors to watch over me."
