"Dr. Shah is not just a valve surgeon but a highly skilled cardio-thoracic expert. That helped in my decision to chose him as MY surgeon as he has the ability to handle anything that happen in the heart! We decided on the "minimally" invasive surgery and it was performed at Johns Hopkins on June 5, 2015. The heart is perfect now!
Dr. Shah is not JUST an excellent surgeon, but the way he works with his patients makes you feel as if you are his only priority. He has extreme confidence which puts you at ease with the procedure. He has moved on to Vanderbilt and if any of my family or friends ever need heart surgery, we will be travelling to Nashville. "
