Hello! My name is Dr. Bryan Barrus and I am a cardiac surgeon having graduated from Penn State University in 2009. Mayo Clinic performs more than 4,500 cardiac surgeries each year. We are experts in treating pediatric, congenital and complex forms of heart valve disease using minimally invasive procedures including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and robotic mitral valve repair. Dr. Bryan Barrus, heart surgeon, graduated from Penn State University in 2009.

After medical school, Dr. Barrus completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency in 2011 and a Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency in 2017 at the University of Rochester.

During his career, Dr. Barrus has received several awards and accolades including:
