"I asked about minimal invasive for my surgery and Dr. Underhill said "NO" and then explained why -- that the full zipper and his 98% success rate was best for me. But, if i was dead set on minimum invasive he would recommend a more aggressive surgeon. I said your my doctor. He is great, talks, explains, good after surgery visits. "

"Dr. Underhill was very professional and friendly. On the initial visit, he spent over an hour talking to me discussing my situation and corrective action. WE DID IT and I am still here to tell you. GREAT!!!!!"

"I met Dr. Underhill about 3 weeks before we decided to do my surgery. I asked about a minimally invasive. Dr. Underhill suggested that sternotomy would be best. He then explained everything to me and I knew he was the surgeon for me. Dr. Underhill's bedside manner is very caring and he put me at ease. I just had my 3-weeks check-up after having aortic valve replacement and I feel great. "

"Dr. Underhill took his time to explain the whole procedure. He calmed my fears and he cleared out a blot clot. He spent a good deal of time with my family and he kept in touch with me for good while after my relapse and into my recuperation. I would recommend him to any with valve problems."

"Dr. Underhill took the time to explain the operation in detail and answer all questions a week prior to the surgery. He made time to find and discuss with my wife what had happened while he and I were in the operating room. He helped calm my fears and ease my apprehensions. His follow up visits were informative and he was very congenial. He gave me the time I wanted and was only concerned about my health."
