"Dr Chen made my experience much more manageable and comforting. I met with several surgeons in the Atlanta area and after our initial appointment, my wife and I knew Dr Chen was the right doc for me. He presented several options and walked me through the pros/cons of each, while allowing me to make the decision that was best. I'd recommend Dr Chen without reservation."

"I interviewed several surgeons in Atlanta when it was time to replace my bi-cuspid aortic valve and felt most comfortable with Dr Chen. He was thoughtful, informative, caring, and is the most prominent aortic surgeon in the Atlanta area. If I had to do it again, I'd choose Dr Chen without reservation."

"Dr. Chen answers all your questions and explains all the options. He and the staff at Emory make you feel confident and comfortable. Dr. Chen also fixed an aneurism in my ascending aorta with a dacron tube. I was extremely pleased with the care and the follow up and I am hard to please. "

"I felt very confident in Dr. Chen as he has performed this surgery many many times. I did very well with the valve replacement and the aneurysm "fix' that Dr. Chen also found during the procedure."

"Dr. Chen was recommended to me as I was concerned about having my aortic valve replaced due to damage from an aortic aneurysm. He was able to repair the aneurysm and spared my valve. Almost 10 years later and the repair and the valve are doing well. Dr. Chen and his staff were very attentive and very kind. HIGHLY recommend him if you are in/near the Atlanta area and are in need of valve surgery with the possibly of sparing your valve."

"My consultation was very good. Dr. Chen answered most of my questions before I ever asked them. I saw him everyday after surgery. I had a mild stroke which got me off to a slow start, but I am doing very well now. I have recommended Dr.Chen to other people, one just this month, and Adam Pick's book also."

"Dr. Chen was very knowledgeable and helpful in making my decisions. He did a minimally invasive incision, about 3", and was able to replace my aortic valve and repair an aortic aneurysm. He came to see me each day in the hospital - did not just send a PA. I trust him totally and would highly recommend him to anyone needing heart surgery!"

"Dr. Chen and his staff were AMAZING!! They were very informative and supportive prior to my surgery. I had an aortic aneurysm that needed to be repaired quickly. They answered all of my questions. After my surgery, the hospital staff at Emory University Hospital were VERY helpful and supportive. It was very obvious that everyone enjoyed their job and truly helping people to recover. I would STRONGLY recommend Dr. Chen and Emory for any aortic repairs/ replacements."
