"Reassuring mixture of calm demeanor, thorough explanation, carefully considered answers to my questions and my wife's questions. Also, fairly rapid healing which in my experience can say a lot about the surgeon and their skill.

Close to 6 month post-op and I feel like I have few, if any, limitations secondary to my surgery. With a full sternotomy, I find this surprising. Partly me bouncing back - which I seem to be pretty good at - and partly Dr. Peck's surgical knowledge and skill.

In the hospital, he was very empathetic to my wife and directed her to a better waiting area than she had initially been told. This was huge for her. It was the third heart surgery of a loved one which she'd been "the [family] visitor" for. She's pretty stoic but I could tell she was scared too. Dr. Peck did a tremendous job of making sure her questions were answered and when to expect me in ICU post op, how I was doing, etc.

I highly recommend this surgeon. "
