"Simply the best! Great skills, personable, caring, compassion, and professional. Great care after surgery. Quad By-Pass and new Mitral Valve. I thanked Dr. Hashmi for saving my life and he said, God saved your life. Wow. That's the Doctor you want working on you. God gave him great skills and compassion."

"I was extremely pleased with the way my surgery went as well as the followup visit. Dr. Hashmi really cared about me as his patient and as a person. He is also modest -- when I thanked him for saving my life, he said, "Only God saves lives." He also has a great sense of humor. When he asked me whether I wanted a cow valve or a pig valve, I thought I saw him wink and I said jokingly, "I am a Jew so of course I want a cow valve." We had a good laugh over that."

"Dr. Hashmi was going to perform a cow valve replacement of my mitral valve (as I did not want to have a mechanical valve that required Coumadin therapy for the balance of my life). I was 56 when Dr. Hashmi performed the surgery -- which also included a MAZE procedure. Interestingly, Doctor Hashmi was able to repair and "save" all of my original parts, so that no replacement was needed. Besides saving my life, Dr. Hashmi is a wonderful and caring doctor, in and out of the operating room. If need be, I'd have another open heart surgery, with him being the doctor. His caring and compassion are something I have never experienced compared to any other surgeon. I will ALWAYS be gratefully indebted to the good doctor and his surgical abilities. I would recommend him whole-heartedly (pun intended). Thank you Dr. Hashmi!!!"
