"Dr. Higgins was very professional and open to answering the numerous questions I had. Of course, the patient needs to also be respectful of the surgeon's time and make sure to prepare questions and not to repeat the same questions over again. She recommended a mechanical valve but given my preference for the Edwards Inspiris Resilia tissue valve she worked with me to accommodate me and after the surgery visited me to ensure me she implanted the largest possible valve size. The procedure went well and after 3.25 yrs all is fine and I am hoping to get to 20 years. Dr. Higgins would be my first choice."
