"My first major surgery was this one, (Aortic Valve Replacement). I was referred to him by the man who was my cardiologist (first one) at the time. Dr. Craig did his best to reassure me and my family member who was with me, that all would be well. He explained the procedure and everything about the process, and what was expected of me. This doctor treated us with respect. He was very patient with me. The worst thing that happened was that a huge keloid developed over my surgical scar. So far, nothing that I have tried, has produced good results. It remains an eyesore in the middle of the chest. I know that without the procedure, I might not be here today. Since submitting to the surgery, I can breathe without any problem, and have not experienced any of the symptoms that presented themselves prior to the operation.
On my final visit to Memphis, TN with Dr.Craig, I was surprised that he hugged me. Hopefully, I will never need to have another operation like this one. if I ever do, I would definitely recommend Dr. John Craig in Memphis, Tennessee."
