"I was referred to Dr. Ejiofor by my cardiologist who had reviewed my test results and realized that my aortic aneurysm had expanded significantly in two months. The most serious surgery I had ever faced before was a C-section to deliver twins.
Open heart surgery was beyond my comprehension; mentally and emotionally! Before meeting Dr. Ejiofor at my initial office visit, I had come to the conclusion that I may make a choice not to have the surgery if I didn’t observe a sense of confidence after my discussion with the surgeon. All of this was so new to me and my condition had accelerated really quickly.
Dr. Ejiofor has been the epitome of professionalism from the time he entered the room for my initial appointment/consultation. He was very knowledgeable, detailed in his explanations and provided graphics that any lay person could understand. He used analogies to help explain the surgical process, and never once appeared to be rushed or out of time to see the next patient. He answered every question that I had.
My anxiety was on overload but he helped me to a state of calmness with the information he provided that day. He gave clear details what to expect pre- and post-surgery. He never blinked once with the look of uncertainty, and with me being the sports fan that I am, he reminded me of the basketball player who wants the last second shot to be able to win a championship. If Dr. Ejiofor and his office staff were a basketball team, I’d liken them to the Lakers with Kobe Bryant at point guard.
Dr. Ejiofor, clearly is confident in using his skills, tools and knowledge to win a game, even if it’s the last shot at the buzzer! It's what I needed to do to improve my health. I had a new sense of confidence as well. Unfortunately, I have experienced too many situations where service personnel did not take their jobs seriously and give it their best effort 100% of the time. Best effort is all that one can ask.
I will be forever grateful and appreciative of the service that Dr. Ejiofor, and his staff members have provided. It has helped me to rewrite a more optimistic outlook in life!"

"Dr. Ejiofor exuded confidence in me even in our first meeting to discuss the procedure. He performed the 5-hour surgery (as he had predicted) in a professional and efficient manner, and promptly informed my wife and son about how well the procedure went. He showed them photographs of the diseased valve and the cleaning up of the calcified annulus and drew pictures to show where the right coronary bypass was grafted. he and his team visited me several times during my 5-day hospital stay, and he was always positive and encouraging.
During home recovery, when I had several questions (via email), his team always responded quickly and appropriately. I had a my post-surgical meeting with him on July 8, and he assured me that I am progressing well and should be fully recovered in 8-12 weeks after the surgery.
