"My aortic valve was replaced with a bovine valve. Dr. Bauer put in a valve but didn't like the way it looked (too big) so he took that one out and put in the correct size. My surgery didn't finish until after midnight but Dr. Bauer did a wonderful job. He gave me the option of the minimal invasive but it was new and I would have been his first patient. So, I opted for the open-heart with the big scar. My scar still shows quite a bit (especially in the summer with low neck clothes). But at 73, I don't think anyone even notices. I tan in the summer and my scar is still white. I feel great with no problems. God is sooooo good. Dr. Bauer did the surgery and God did the healing. "
