"I was diagnosed with a congenital bicuspid aortic valve which had begun to calcify. Having a video call with Dr Wyler Von Ballmoos early on, I had many concerns and I am very hands on, being in the medical field as an administrator and primary care giver for my parents (one with heart issues, one with lung cancer); so not afraid to ask any and all questions and getting answers! Dr Wyler Von Ballmoos took time to explain everything, and I could see he truly cared about my health. The surgery went well at Methodist Medical Center in Houston and Dr Wyler Von Ballmoos at discharge, again answered all questions. We just had a video follow up call 2 weeks & 4 days after surgery (getting ready to go on a long RV vacation) and he took time to go over all tests results taken before I my discharge from the hospital, answering my questions and clearing me with encouragement for me to get back to my routine as I have no limits, just listen to my body. I am very active and eat healthy and each day I feel stronger and now I have been told I can do more, I continue to get stronger. I had a mini procedure (small incision between the ribs, upper right chest) and did I mention at this time very little discomfort or pain... I am so blessed to have found Dr Wyler Von Ballmoos and cannot thank him enough. If you need a fantastic Cardiac Surgeon and want one of the best surgeons, with a great bedside manner and a caring gentlemen who is humble - PLEASE reach out to his office. You will not regret being in his care. Again, THANK YOU Dr Wyler Von Ballmoos for giving me my quality of life back. Forgot to mention, his staff is wonderful and attentive as well. "

"Dr. Wyler von Ballmoos was very thoughtful & caring, before and after surgery. He was able to repair my valve and didn't have to replace it! I had a quick recovery and was home in three days following surgery. I highly recommend him. "
