"Dr. Weldner was very good at explaining the different types of options I had before the surgery in laymens terms. He made me feel confident in my choice of valve and told me what to expect during recovery. He is a very upbeat and positive doctor who will talk to you as a person, not just a patient. When the hospital staff (nurses, technicians, etc) found out he was my doctor, they told me I made a wise choice. I was told his patients recover at a faster pace then other surgeons. I am proof of that. I highly recommend Dr. Weldner."

"Dr. Weldner is very competent knowledgeable. We interviewed him before our selection and found him as such,and I had the surgery in two days. I wanted to have minimally invasive surgery, which he does, but after talking with him I decided on conventional surgery. He took the time to explain everything and answer all our questions. After coming out of ICU I was surprised how well I felt. Dr. Weldner did a great job and I highly recommend him. "
