"Dr. Riley was simply excellent. He had monitored my bicuspid aortic valve and developing aortic aneurysm for a few years prior to recommending surgery. The surgery went very well. I was off any serious pain medication and using only Tylenol by my third day in the hospital. Dr. Riley has a great professional mannerism. I can think of no better surgeon for any heart related issues."

"I recommend Dr. Riley without any reservations. His manner is very patient centered in that he answered all my questions with very through, yet understandable answers. The office staff and his PA were very competent yet compassionate in every way. I went into to surgery with great confidence and faith in Dr. Riley and I was not disappointed! "

"Dr Riley was fantastic from the first consultation on. He performed a complicated minimally-invasive mitral valve repair in four hours. I spent four full days in the hospital (released on the fifth), with two of those in ICU. Dr Riley checked on me morning and night all four days. He is highly respected among the hospital staff and is very attentive and personable. The whole cardiac center of excellence team as well as the hospital experience at Scottsdale Shea Medical Center were great.
I was back to work in a month. I felt better then than I had for at least six months before surgery. In a word, Dr Riley is awesome."

"I was referred to cardiac surgeon Dr.Robert Riley by 5 cardiologists who said he is who they would want to operate on them. I understand from cardiologists and nurses he does complicated cases in shorter operating times with less complications. Very talented surgeon. He is very personable and explains everything in my language. He did open heart repairing mitral, tricuspid and replacing aortic valve. Post op team did a fabulous job helping me after surgery.
I am now 5 weeks post op and feeling pretty great. I do have ups and downs as I was told I would have for sometime. When downs happen I rest and hydrate. I can travel anywhere and he is who I picked. Glad I did."

"Dr. Riley is the best. Dr. Riley performed minimally invasive AVR on me and I have had the best experience possible. Once you meet this doctor, you'll feel like you've known him forever. Dr. Riley listened to all of my wife's questions and answered each one. His staff is very knowledgeable and ensures the patient knows everything that's going to happen before it happens. I am so happy that I learned about Dr. Riley before letting another surgeon open my sternum. My recovery has been very easy and quick. I was back to work in a month and driving 9 days after surgery. I was literally pain free before driving and did not experience any difficulties along the way. I highly recommend Dr. Riley for any heart related surgery you may need."

"I can say nothing but good for Dr. Riley. I had already been admitted to the hospital for another condition and had no idea I had Severe Aortic Stenosis. My condition was so severe that I was advised to have Aortic Valve Replacement before I left the hospital. Dr. Riley was my surgeon, and is amazing. I saw him several times before the surgery, daily after the surgery, and in his office. He makes you feel completely comfortable and cared for in every way. He is compassionate, attentive, and gentile, and if I ever need heart surgery again it would only be with Dr. Riley!"

"Dr. Riley is an amazing surgeon. He performed a minimally invasive aortic valve replacement on March 2nd and I was back to my normal running routine and work within a month. He was extremely attentive during my hospital stay and in subsequent office visits. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of a heart valve operation. He had a very comforting bedside manner and made himself available to my family on the date of surgery to respond to their questions and concerns. "

"My experience with Dr. Riley was extremely positive. He was available at all times to answer the many questions I had. He was in the hospital daily and made me feel as though I was his only patient. I was released four days after my surgery and resumed normal activities within a month."
