"Dr. Melikian is the best! He has performed some 3,000 plus open heart surgeries. Very personable, explained the procedure in detail and just a great guy. Did an outstanding job on replacing my valve with one made of bovine pericardium tissue. I am stronger now (age 71 and doing lots of road cycling) than I had been many years prior to this surgery. I cannot thank Dr. Melikian enough and the great staff at Kaiser in San Francisco."
