My aortic valve was successfully replaced on Wednesday May 8th. But my mitral valve repair had to be delayed due to the severe calcification of that valve. I will require a per cutaneous mitral valve replacement via the femoral artery using the Apollo valve by doctors Steve Davis and Jamie Davies at the University of Alabama Birmingham hospital.
