Im now a little over a month in recovery. Im not in any real pain other than some uncomfortableness under my arm, in my armpit area. It was a minimally invasive procedure. I wish I could take something for the uncomfortableness. but Tylenol and Advil dont seem to work anymore.

Yumiko Ishida Have you considered chiropractic adjustments? For a sternotomy my surgeon gave me the ok to see a chiropractor after 8 weeks. I imagine restriction period for MI is shorter, but make sure you clear it with your surgeon. If you don’t already have a chiropractor, look for one that uses an activator. Much better than the traditional method!

Kathy Ozio Hi Jeff. It may last awhile. Then one day you'll realize it didn't bother you. It was several months for me and I'm still numb in one area but it does not hurt or bother me. Light massage can also help.
