Facebook Live Event: Let’s Talk About Heart Valve Disease!

By Adam Pick on August 10, 2017

I love patient education! I also really love real-time patient education!

That said, I’m excited to announce a Facebook Live event dedicated to heart valve disease!

Dr. Patrick McCarthy, executive director of the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute at Northwestern Medicine, and Dr. Charles Davidson, medical director at the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute, will be answering your questions LIVE at Facebook.com/northwesternmedicine from 4 to 4:30 pm CST next Tuesday, August 15.

Join the discussion by logging into Facebook.com/northwesternmedicine next Tuesday at 4pm CST to learn more about valve disease.  You can also post questions here – the doctors will try to answer your questions during the live event.

Keep on tickin!
Adam

Are there more precise ways besides an echogram to check on my heart’s aortic valve status after surgery? With my bad back this has become a very big issue.
