Deena Z Thinking of you, Iona. Hope this is the last of your "episodes" as you get stronger and stronger each day and month. Recovery has it's ups and downs, and as long as you are getting better overall, all is good.

Greetings from Arizona, USA! I am so happy for your success!

My valve was replaced in 2016 at age 62. I had a successful surgery and recovery, though pulling out some of those tubes in my chest was interesting (painful). I waited to go back to work for about 2 months. I really had no problems worth complaining and feel I'm about 90% my pre-surgery self.

I hope all the best for you as you continue to improve week by week.

Ana Brusso Hello Iona, I think you are in great shape.! You swim every day, I don’t even think of getting my hair wet in the pool 🤣. I have survived two open heart surgeries by the Grace of God. You will do just fine. Keep us posted. God bless you
