Paul Lebel Thanks Dan. That's encouraging. I noted my times on my pool sets before surgery. Figured with a new "turbo" non leaking MV, I'd be smokin those tines as soon as the scabs fell off lol. Seriously, I did! BUT...@2.5 months, I'm only back to 2/3 of my normal workout Man did I misunderstand the process!!!

Dan S-otts Trust me it gets better. Just keep moving a little more each day. It took me a good 6 months to get back close to where I was several years ago. I will always remember an Olympic Gold medalist telling me for each week he took off it took him 1&1/2 months to get back and that was when he was in training mode. 😵💫

Hey Paul, I just read your post regarding the excessive peeing, I had mitral and tricuspid valve repairs last February 2023. Gained about 20lbs of fluid which took 2 months to get back to normal. I also started peeing several times each night. I thought it was due to the extra fluid, and/or being awakened every 2 hours a night during the hospital stay. For the last 3 months I’ve started drinking a mug of green tea everyday like clockwork. It’s helped me immensely. For the last month I have been sleeping 7-8 hours a night without getting up once, or even having the urge to pee. Hopefully it’s something that will work for you. I’m all about natural remedies if possible.

Paul Lebel Thanks Dan. That peeing every hour, 24/7 lasted 4 to 6 weeks. Can't remember exactly now. But at 12 weeks now everything is back to normal. Maybe there were barbs on the catheter they used twice in 10 days 🤔 lol
