Susan Nelson  Thanks Jim! I will be thinking of you and your family also! I'm starting to think of it a lot more lately. Although I was supposed to have this done on 03/03 and got canceled 2 hours prior to surgery. I got a real sense of calm the night before actually, so I am hoping to have that this time too. I have had all my preop tests. The heart cath was much less than I worried about, so you should do fine with that. They say you are awake, but whatever happy juice they gave me was working pretty well for me.

Jim Hernandez  Originally I was set to be the first am surgery that day for my surgeon at the time. However, about 3 1/2 weeks ago, my cardiologist informed me that my surgeon had to take a medical leave of abscense. It was scary thinking I may have to start the search over or postpone the procedure since we had so many plans set with work and pet sitters, family etc.... We finally were able to make plans with a new surgeon in the Brigham group that is well respected, he agreed to take my case and keep the same day, but the actual time of surgery is up in air... I think it may be near the same time as you now. I go tomm to meet him and go over procedure then all of the preop and heart cath

Jim Hernandez  All pre-op tests and labs done and pre- admitting taken care of. Heart cath was also done yesterday. Was ok until they took the brace off the wrist and I got woozy and fainted and quite nauseous....but better today. My surgery is now at 2 pm on Tuesday, so right after you
