Lynda Ruiz  Day 3 post surgery. My external pacemaker is still doing most of the work and there is talk about my getting one put in. Surgery went fine & recovery. I like that recovery & ICU are all done in my "suite". Aware of all going on vut ut ws frutrating not to be able to answer questions my sister didnt know answers to. Air spelling & fingers up worked, lol. Walking us ok. Only 200 ft at a time so far, but breathing is difficult. Keeping oxygen on all the time. That has to get better. If it's a problem here at 650 ft, it'll be tough at home where I'm already on oxygen because of 5000 ft elevation. My chest doesn't hurt, but it feels so "heavy". Be glad when more tubes & boxes are removed.

Sally Strand  Hi Lynda thanks for the welcome note. You come from a beautiful
part of the country! I will pray your breathing will become a little better each day. Mine is slow going too even though I am no longer on oxygen.

Kathy Blank  Lynda- you look great and hope your recovery is coming along! I don't recognize that trendy hospital gown with the red piping. Mine was blue! Not much altitude in Plano! Hope you love the nursing staff as much as I did! What floor are you on?

Lynda Ruiz  They've replaced the gowns & these are super soft. But only in smaller sizes, so another for backside when out of chair. My sister laughed & said they have a size 2 then a 48 in the old style.

No, I always teased my family after moving here so long ago that the highest elevation was the day offramp.
