Diagnosed with bicuspid valve about 7 years ago with an aortic aneurysm. Played football my entire life at a high level and didnt find out about my bicuspid valve until that time. My check ups have been good until last year where my EF went below 50 and now l, after a bout of Covid, the regurgitation is Moderately Severe and i have constant palpitations. Dr Girardi of Cornell, took a look at my scans and said its time to go in and repair/ replace this thing. I am 41 with a wife and an almost one year old child. This board i have read since i was told it is time and it has helped to put my mind in a better place.
