About Me (In My Own Words)
I was diagnosed with a heart problem in 2008. I was feeling great losing weight walking everyday going too work then about 2 years ago I passed out at work. Went too the hospital and several doctor's from Salt Lake too the Cleveland Clinic told me the same thing you will have surgery sometime but not sure when. When I got home a friend suggested that I send all my paperwork too the Mayo Clinic. After sending them everything within two weeks I got a call too set up for a visit. Dec of 2016 was my first appointment. I was told that I have Aortic Stenosis and a bicuspid valve and mild regurgitation. At that time I was at 1.9 and when I went in June I was at .9. Well my surgery was cancelled for Nov 10th of this year and now reschedule for Jan4 2018. I am having My Aortic Valve replaced and aortic stretch. The Doctors think I got rheumatic fever as a child. Being adopted at age 16 we have no idea. I am tired all the time and not able too walk like I used too. How I miss the walks. Can't wait too start feeling normal again.
