Just had my annual echocardiogram 2 weeks ago, and was called by the cardiologist & told he thinks now is the time to look at valve replacement.
Have a consolation with a surgeon on 10/17 to discuss options.
Consultation went OK....surgeon suggests St. Jude Mechanical Valve. Scheduling a cardiac catherization for the next few weeks for final look before surgery.
