About Me (In My Own Words)
Hi!
I am a 67 year young woman living in Harrogate England. I have congenital bicuspid aorta valve and now severe aortic stenosis. My symotoms of chest tightness on physical exertion have not been too restricting until recently. I am a month into a 3 month wait for OHS for valve replacement. I was living alone but currently have my daughter and 2 young granddaughters living with me (temporarily since January with no change on the horizon!). I am understandably anxious about the surgery but more anxious about the post op period. My daughter works full time and relies on me for helping with the 3 and 5 year old......
