i was born with pulmonary stenosis and pulmonary artery aneurysm. i'm 56 now and my aneurysm had became big at 6 cm. i have always been asymptomatic in my younger years... it was just in the past couple of years that i started to have symptoms of fatigue, palpitations, double beats, skip beats upon exertion like climbing the stairs and carrying or lifting heavy stuffs. it was last year when my cardiologist, dr. joy gelbman from NY Presbyterian referred me to a heart surgeon and was advised to go for surgery before everything gets worse like developing a congestive heart failure and above all, a possible rupture of my aneurysm.
