About Me (In My Own Words)
I am 65 and currently have symptomatic severe aortic stenosis with a bicuspid valve. I will have tests/scans/angiogram over the next 10 days and will see if I am a good candidate for TAVR vs SAVR.
Update: I'm not a good candidate for TAVR due to the size of my bicuspid valve annulus. My symptoms have gotten progressively worse in the past 2 weeks so I'm scheduled for SAVR Thursday, 11/21 at Mayo Phoenix.
