During a normal check up the Cardiologist discovered a murmur of the heart. While the ECG came out normal, Echo showed heavy calcification of the Aortic valve along with heavy blockages in 3 arteries. I had no symptoms. Maybe due to elevated blood sugar levels (HbA1C levels in past few years ranged between 6.4 to 7). Angiography done and confirmed Echo test results. Open heart surgery conducted with replacement of Aortic valve with a tissue value along with bypass of 3 arteries and a branch. Surgery has been successful with all vital parameters in control. Last echo 2 weeks back show Heart EFA at 65%.
