Two leaflets stuck from stenosis. Had a CT scan on April 10 which was very painful due to sciatic nerve screaming thru the whole process. TAVR will be thru femoral artery. I'm very interested in what to expect when I go home.
I'm on my 2nd pacemaker put in at age 84 after 13 years on first one. All electrical circuits are dead so 100% dependent on pacer. I have continuous remote monitoring on my pacer. Doctor has not seen any correlation between syncope events and pacer records.
Have had angioplasty several years ago. Have been given Lipitor several times - always with bad side effects. My heart doctor prescribed another statin for me recently which I opted to not take because of my experiences with Lipitor.
I've been having sleep syncope episodes for 2 1/2 years. Hoping that goes away with new valve. The normal progression of these episodes is a feeling of nausea in my stomach followed by light headedness but no actual syncope. I've had about 135 of these episodes over 30 months,
