The road to recovery has been quite the roller coaster. Hearing everybody's stories on here has been uplifting. Everything seemed to be getting better. However, my recovery has stunted. I now have a lightheaded feeling and the click in my valve doesn't sound the same. I have feelings of breathlessness, even when resting (feels like something take air out my throat). And once in a while my left arm and side will feel sore in a ring around my heart, extending to the back, though not painful. Even though it's been 4 months since my surgery, I didn't feel most of this before. Been going for a week. Perhaps my body is rejecting the valve or something just went wrong. Also curious of anybody has felt a blood rush feeling through the left side of their body post-surgery. Not painful, but feels like blood leaking and it's alarming for sure. Either way, I must remain faithful and grateful for the extra time given to me. I would go through 100 more surgeries to be here for my family. More than worth it.

Marie Myers It is possible that anxiety is playing a role in some of your symptoms. Best to get things checked out with your cardiologist, and go from there. Post open heart is a roller coaster ride, and I never liked roller coasters.. It isn't easy, that is for sure!
Andrew Wong Yeah I have been contacting him. Thank you!
