Today Kathy and I are traveling to Beth Israel Lahey Hospital for some pre-operation procedures and education on what to expect during the surgery. Yesterday, my counselor gave me some affirmations that I truly believe and want to share:

I am thankful for the gifts that God has bestowed on the surgeons and medical providers to be able to work on my heart with such precision and expertise. Truly a blessing

I am thankful for the gift God has given me of life, NOW.
