Sherry Boleslawski Yes Adam thank you for your due diligence on educating about the Coronavirus! With being 7 weeks post-op I was having my concerns regarding my Mitral valve repair. I have been limiting larger crowds and washing/sanitizing often. I do return to work at a University campus and still have some concerns.

Dear brother, I have put myself on quarantine since last week. My family does all the shopping, won’t even go to Church, meditation classes or anything where people gather. Kind of a drag, but have to be careful. We already have 5 infected and they are being treated very close to me. God bless us all as he promises to protect us from the “fatal plague”if we are believers.

It's been 1 month ago today that I left for Baylor Plano TX Heart Hospital from Cabot, AR to get a second opinion. My appointment was the next day, June 21, 2018. The plan went very quickly from plan "A" which was a 2nd opinion to plan "B" having open heart surgery on June 27, 2018 in Plano, TX. Yes, I had a full sternotomy due to having a bicuspid valve and the need for ablation for A-Fib. As the surgeon, Deborah Tabachnick, was finishing up closing my 4.0 aneurysm burst and I'm still here to tell you about it. She said, just a few more minutes and it would have been catastrophic. I have nothing but Praise to God for placing me in her hands just at the right moment. My whole reason for choosing Baylor Plano Heart Hospital was to be where there was lots of experience with all kinds of issues.
I am doing well and was very surprised that I have had very little discomfort. The 5 hour drive back to Cabot, AR was a little rough but I would do it again. Since I live alone, I went to St. Vincent North Little Rock Rehab Hospital for 10 days which totally prepared me to be back at home alone.
Thank you, Adam, for your book which prepared me to do my homework and to make good choices. In your book is all of the wisdom I had prayed for.
