My story began in 2013 when I didn’t feel well, my PCP gave me a monitor on my heart, but nothing came up, but still didn’t feel well so I went to a cardiologist and found out I had a leaky aortic valve and a aneurysm too! I was in total shock and all these years years later I am thinking I could have to have OHS this year, but will know for sure this November. I am so afraid, I have never had any surgery, however I have been reading this page and find everyone’s stories encouraging!

You must remember, iopen heart surgery is actually quite common, and many ,many people get through these surgeries everyday. Wishing you all the best!
