Afternoon everyone. It's been 5 months since surgery, and what an incredible difference. I'm in cardiac rehab, slowly working my way back to where I was, my stamina is almost back to where it used to be AND I feel great. My 6 month follow-up with the cardiologist is coming up soon, and I'm excited to hear what she has to say. This group has been a big contributor to my mental recovery, which is just as important. Its exciting to see what the rest of this 2nd lease on life has in store.

Good to hear your cardiac rehab is helping you get back to normal. I can’t wait to go to cardiac rehab after some delays caused by insurance. I’ll be 3 months post op tomorrow and feeling good with some I hope are minor issues as my left foot feeling asleep and some lightheadness that comes once in a while. Keep up with your rehab as everyone in this blog keeps saying it does help. Good job Mike!

Hi everyone! Just had my second OHS on 1-Oct-2019 to have my Mitral Valve replaced with a St. Jude valve. My Aortic valve was replaced with a St. Jude valve when I was a kid.
Does anyone else have a double valve replacement? If so, what is your exercise regimen? I've been very active all my life and plan to continue, however I don't want to push too hard and jeopardize my cardiac health.
Thanks!
Mike
