At X-Games in Aspen skiing 3 months to the day after my surgery to replace my bicuspid aortic valve and aortic aneurysm by Dr. Tony Cafferelli at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach CA. So grateful to him and his excellent team!

Wow good for you and you have a great attitude. I am having the exact same issues and my surgery is scheduled for April 9th at the Cleveland Clinic. Seems like you breezed through everything. If you have any secrets to your success could you please share them? Thanks

I found I needed to be patient after surgery. I thought only my sternum would be sore. My whole chest and back was sore for 8 weeks. Only took Tylenol or Advil. This led to difficulty sleeping. I took home a bedside urinal from the hospital so I didn't have... Read more.
