I had my Aorta TAVR Procedure weds sept 19th at Buffalo General Hospital . Surgery was at 8:30 am All went well .Walking soon afterwards. Couldn't believe I a suite room wise with a great view. Today thurs the 20th I has a a 50 minute echo, ekg exray and blood work. I waS TOLD EVERYTHING LOOK FINe Could go home today a day after my procedure. my Team Director Vijay S. Iyer MD PHD did my surgery. I elected to have heavier sedation. So observe nothing. The team has done over 1000 TAVA since they started in 2012. I was very fortanet That my team was 1 of only 17 teams pick by Edwards in all U.S. & Canada to do a special study on low risk patients. I was very lucky with a low score to qualify in this study thus no open heart surgery. That made me very happy. So recuperating now at home. I have a question also .How long after your procedure TAVR wise before you could drive ? Dick Tilton

I will be getting aorta TAVR Valve Weds Sept 19th. Very fortune, Iam in a low risk study by Edwards. My team doing the valve replacement is only 1 of 17 in the study in U.S - Canada. Since my risk score is low,normally would have open heart valve replacement. I have had all my testing my team is at Buffalo General in Buffalo NY
