My husband got his aortic valve replaced and fixed his aortic aneurysm on August 30 at the Baylor Heart Hospital in Plano. He is doing well and in recovery stage with an AFIB that he is been treated for. Thank you Adam for writing the Patient's Guide to Heart Valve Surgery book. It has been instrumental to have all that knowledge before the surgery. He knew what to expect on every stage of the process. I want to mention that having a motorized recliner is very helpful in the recovery and the use of a raised toilet if you are tall. Good luck to all the patients!!
