Welcome to the site Adela. I have been in watch and wait state for many years. I am now in severe stage of AS but still have no major symptoms other than fatigue. It's frustrating but I find lots of information and encouragement from the folks on here. Good luck with your heart journey!

Marie Myers Hi Adela. I, too had a bicuspid AV and developed an ascending aortic aneurysm. I had my surgery 3 months ago and am doing very well. I see you are from Poland. My father and all my grandparents were from Gorlice. Where are you in Poland?

Jennifer McInerney I have had my heart issue since I was an infant. I am now 62. It can take a long time before you move to the severe stage. Sorry you are dealing with this at 19. If I can help by sharing my experiences. Let me know. By the way I have lived a fully normal life, had three pregnancies, worked full time while in the watch and wait state. I hope this helps.
