Hi Anita :-) thanks for reaching out to me! Yes I’d love to talk sometime that would be great. It’s a little scary but I know that I’m going to come out much better afterwards so that’s a good thing :-) Is there a local support group that you know of? Anita Edmonds Hi Ann, When my cardiologist told me I need heart surgery the first thing I did was look for a local support group but couldn't find one. That's when I came across Adam's book and this wonderful group! Thank you Adam Pick. You do not have to feel alone! I'm in the same situation, living alone and was worried about the aftercare. The messages are not private, but I'm in the "google book" :)

Anita Edmonds Hi Jean, I got a second opinion at Mayo Clinic, which we are lucky to have here in AZ. They ran tests of my heart from every angle and agreed it is time for surgery. And I felt great, the symptoms had not caught up with the numbers. Well, it did not take long, I now feel tired and dizzy all the time. Have been updating and checking my paperwork, wills, trust etc. Communicating with my daughter about end of life directive. Now, I just have to clean the house one more time...(: Most days I now see as positive and that things will go back to a new normal. There must be a reason for all this. Let me know what happens after your second opinion.
