Christine Oliva Anita, my best wishes for your surgery and recovery tomorrow. It is a gritty journey, but you can do it like us old vets did it before. I'm a five week vet of AVR and kind of a baby when it comes to pain, but guess what I did it and have no regrets. I know you will feel the same when you come over to the "other side" .

anita egden Thanks Christine... It went well and I am on the mend. It isn't a walk in the park and I like term "gritty" There is some stuff we just have to power through... and will be stronger for it. % weeks - does that mean you are far along in your walking program?

Anita- May you make it to take in the view from your "Blue Mountain" as it sounds like the perfect thing to implant in your mind before you roll into your surgery, perhaps what you can focus on just before you slide into a gentle sleep. I had a vision of kayaking on the waters that stuck with me and gave me great Peace and a moment in time as beautiful is a wonderful feeling of calmness which gives your surgeon and your team a wonderful patient to work on! I hope you go in feeling confident that all will go as It should and you are out in no time to live out this second chance you/we are given in a grand and grateful way for this is a very special time. Bless you heart sister and know our hearts and prayers are with you tomorrow. Have a good evening tonight and rest easy. You can do this.
