Hi Bill I read your journal and I am also facing AVR in about 9 weeks. I have gone back and forth with which valve to get but, I feel I've made up my mind with the tissue.My doctor would use the Trifecta as you have.. I am 55 so about 10 years ahead of you.. I see that you have done a lot of research would you mind sharing that? I feel pretty comfortable with my choice but there are times that I still go back and forth.. I plan on having a mini sternotomoy, not thoracotomy.. any info is appreciated. thanks and keep up the good work on your recovery
