I was diagnosed with aortic stenosis a few years ago. Recommended then I have TAVR surgery. At that time my symptoms were not bad enough for surgery. Now 2019 still waiting. Wondering how bad is bad. Only place I go is to doctors office every 3 months.. l wonder if after surgery if I will be able to go anywhere? Use oxygen, Walker now. Wondering if I life gets better or not?

Brady Torres Hi Mary - my TAVR's scheduled for Monday Feb 25 - I certainly hope life gets better AFTER...My main symptom 'shortness of breath' I have Not had to be on oxygen.... per MY doctors unless I get a "valve replacement" ....my symptom will NOT improve so I'm having TAVR hoping for improvement

Debbie Kelly Mary, do you use oxygen for an illness besides shortness of breath because of your valve? I have a hard time breathing when exerting myself but am not on oxygen. My expectations after having TAVR in two more weeks is to get my energy back, with no shortness of breath. I hope you feel better, as well, when the times comes.
