Hi Eddy I know everything will be fine and I know because I had heart valve replacement in 1997 (mechanical valve) and I have had absolutely no problems, I have lived a life like I had no heart problem at all. I am now 60yrs old and I have yearly check-ups with with my Cardiologist and have had no problems at all. I mean listen to your surgeon and cardiologist, but I was back to work and living my life without any restrictions, except one, no weight lifting. Good luck and take care.

Hi, Eddie...sending all good thoughts and wishes your way for a great surgical outcome and an easy and speedy recovery! My AVR surgery is 1/15, the day after yours, so we are in this together. I will be having my surgery at Cleveland Clinic and am, as I’m sure you are too, looking forward to getting this over! Lots of luck to you ❤️
