Hey Erica- I’ve had my mitral valve replaced twice so I can tell you that the MOST IMPORTANT thing that you can do is to have a positive attitude! You got through it once so you can do it again! Be kind to yourself and rest, relax and plan on using your recovery time to do things you love but haven’t had time to do ( I binged on some of my favorite shows and movies and read every single book by my favorite author). A saying that I love says “ what you think about, you bring about” so think an easy recovery and it will be so!!
