Every one is unique and heals according to age, strength, etc. I got discouraged when I saw I wasn’t on the “fast track”. Take your time becoming the new and improved person you will be. Fred, you've got this. Had mine done a year and a half ago and never looked back. Six or seven days in the hospital, then four or five days sleeping in a recliner, and it's all downhill from there. I played golf forty-seven days after my procedure and put all the worry and tiredness behind me

Best of luck for your upcoming surgery. I understand the anxiety and will be thinking of you while I am waiting also. Where are you having the surgery done and by what surgeon? My father had his triple bypass done at Emory St Josephs hospital and it was a very amazing place. When I got second opinions for surgeons I spoke to Dr. Douglas Murphy's office in Atlanta. I decided due to the complexity of my mitral repair to go to Dr. David Adam's in NYC. It is especially challenging to try to think of items I might need while staying out of town.

Fred Earls Cameron I’m Goins to Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. Dr Thourani is the surgeon. I’ve seen the surgeon once in the office and had 2 phone visits. Ready to feel better.
