Hi Joe. I had TAVR for aorta valve on July 18, I was discharged July 21. Back on 7/28 for post-op. Got excellent report. No restrictions and all is good. I can't tell you how happy I am. I was short of breath and extremely tired. All is good now. Still little tired but the PA said I had major surgery. I can actually walk without gasping for air. . All went well and I can only tell you to have faith, trust in God plus your dr. You'll be fine. I was scared, nervous and etc. all for nothing. Lol. The actual procedure is just like your heart cath . Let me hear from you after it's over.

We didn't battle cancer to have this stop us. 👍🏼

Joe Tash Hi Martha, I do have diabetes, which I believe is related to chemo or radiation, since it doesn't run in my family. And yes, I am looking forward to being able to feel better and be more active after the surgery. I'm trying to take things one day at a time and maintain a positive attitude as much as possible. I wish you the best in both the surgery and your recovery. We need to keep our eyes on the prize!
