John Lant Hi Joe, It has been almost 13 months since my Aortic valve replacement (Inspiris Resilia Valve) and I feel great. I have healed well and doing things now that I could not do before my heart surgery. I just went for my annual Echo and everything still looks good with my valve and heart. I am happy to have received the Inspiris Resila valve because it was the latest Generation heart valve made to last longer that the previous generation valve. But you should talk to your surgeon about the valve that is right for you. I am very happy with my valve choice as it is just as quiet as my original valve and when or if zi need another surgery it was designed to accommodate the TAVR valve without going through the major surgery again. If you have anymore questions, please feel free to ask as I will be happy to reply to you. Good luck with your upcoming surgery and it will turn out just fine with very little chest pain and discomfort.

Joe Tarango Thank you, John. Im happy to hear that you have had positive results with this newer technology. It sounds like a good option as I don't really want to be on anticoagulants long term. I appreciate the warm wishes and information. My surgery is less than a month away so just gathering some Intel before I go into the OR.
