Joni, Thank you for taking time to let your heart family know your progress. Take it slow and donot overdue it. This is day 8. I was still in the hospital on day 8! So you are doing fantastic. Each day will get better. I found that using lots of pillows helped me to be more comfortable. Keep up the positive attitude. You are on the road to recovery. I found that when my body said rest, I rested. Before you know it you will be on the go again! Sleep well and will check on you again soon. Bunches of Hugs Mia

Hi Joni! Wow...sorry to hear about the painful night in bed! I'm glad you have the electric recliner. And I hope you have plenty of good pain meds. Joni, so glad to hear your home. Each day will get better. I am almost seven months post op from mitral valve replacement. In a few months you will hardly remember this part of your journey. Remember to rest, relax and let your body heal. Welcome to our heart family! This site of sisters and brothers is amazing. Once you start cardiac rehab you will be on top of the world!!! Glad to hear everything is going OK. I wanted to call you before the operation, but I didn't get a chance. Lenny moved last weekend. I am glad everything is going good, Hope you get home soon. I will keep checking this site. Prayers for you and Ian and Randy. Don't feel like you have to email me because I put my email down. I know when I was in the hospital I didn't want anything to do with a computer. If you were that good , you would be home. Love ya

Joni! So thrilled that your ticker will be fixed and you will feel better, soon! Since you didn't get to learn meditation, I can give you a crash course: Breathing in the peace, letting go of jitters. Breathing in the love of all, Breathing out - letting go, letting go. Repeat and replace words as you see fit. Watch your breath and when thoughts interfere, recognize them, then let them go. Stay present with your breath. Love you sweetie, you'll do great! ❤️

To our precious sister-in-law, reliance on God is a wonderful blessing. He is referred to as "Hearer of Prayer"-Ps 65:2. Yes Joni, "Jehovah is near to all those calling on him, to all who call on him in truth"-Ps 145:18. So continue to pray to our creator for help and support and we will pray for you also. God reassures you, when he inspired to have written, "O Jehovah, you have searched through me, and you know me. 2 You know when I sit down and when I rise up. You discern my thoughts from afar "-Ps 139:1,2. Yes he knows you and he wants you to understand as you approach the time♡, that "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress"-Ps 46:1. And he is telling you, "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness...13 for I, Jehovah your God, am grasping your right hand, the one saying to you, "Do not be afraid.
