Great news that you have found a new cardiologist , that must feel like a huge relief !
It must be very difficult not seeing your brother and missing him .

After open heart surgery , we all have the gift of appreciating life and every day .

I never had cardiac rehab , not structured formal cardiac rehab . It was all cancelled , due to covid . Many people had to recover from their surgery without much support . My surgery was just over two years ago .

YES, Jose, I had extreme fatigue after my surgery that slowly got better. You must be patient but it's an absolute MUST to do physical therapy or exercise, no matter what! I was very fit going into the surgery and never expected to be so tired. But I kept at it, forcing myself to walk behind my house, even if I didn't feel like it. Didn't push myself TOO hard--listened to my body. But at least every day I did SOMETHING. Actually, I still had a bit of fatigue up to 9 months after the surgery--then one day, I woke up and POOF. I was back to normal. Please keep at your recovery and do NOT give up. Everyone is different, so be patient and push yourself a little, but listen to your body. BEST OF LUCK! SHANNON
